The fact that there is open dissent amongst Liberal MP's is bad, and frankly I can't remember that ever happening.

For the sake of the party, Pesutto probably should step aside as leader and Brad Batten probably should be given the gig. (And Moira Deeming should pi55 off forever; she 's not in the game for anyone but Moira Deeming)

Batten's a Geelong supporter which is good enough for me!! Seriously, though, he strikes me as the only current option. I heard him being interviewed yesterday and he was surprisingly candid. Groth is too green and Michael O'Brien has had his go.

As a usual Labor voter, I don’t want to be voting for an Allen Government in 2026 but these guys are making it remarkably difficult.

I actually don’t mind Pesutto but if he gets ousted for a different factional leader then I’ll be at a loss at who to vote for.

I am of the opposite view, we have had nothing but carnage under a succession of Labor governments down here, Dan was disgraceful and treasurer "Terrible Tim" has left us in a mess. Federally we're as weak as p***. Green voters are total crackpots and are extremely dangerous, i now despise the Left. i'm a former Labor voter, I was a Hawke man and the last time was Keating. Sadly the Victorian Libs have no real leadership and Pesuto must stand down, but the alternative of another Jacinta term is not worth thinking about. The state is broke! However, Pesuto just gave her a beautiful Christmas present this week.

If you think the Victorian Liberals are sick and tired of the infighting that is going on within the party over Moira Deeming and John Pesutto's leadership, spare a thought for the Nationals-the junior partner of the Coalition. The Nationals are the only ones to take up the fight to Jacinta Allen, not its more senior counterparts. If the Liberal Party civil war goes on further into 2025, what are the chances of the Nationals wanting a 'divorce' from its political marriage with the Liberals in Victoria?
