Posting Stats - Rd 10

Another solid week of posting for the Demons, matching the number of posts (504) from the previous week. We had 22 posters, which is the second highest number for the season, just one less than last week. We didn't hear from Marlowe or Azarole this week but had the pleasure of a surprise visit from Oddhawk who hadn't been seen on the site for severaal months. Hopefully we'll see mnore from all of them over the next few weeks.

12 Demons had more than 20 posts for the week, with Wosh leading the way once again and Hate , manangatang and sante not far behind. It was great to see Tarkyn_24 back amongst it after a quiet week in Round 9, but on the flip side, DERO and Yakker were quieter than usual.

We have the Furies this week. I have a feeling we might actually win this one. Looking forward to a good week.

DT Stats - Rd 10

Warm considition again. Not ideal for a team that plays on top of a mountain and prefers building snowmen than playing in the heat.
Stats were down again, but it's still better than playing in the rain and mud.

sante led the way with 107, his best game for the season while cartwright and Tarkyn_24 both maintaied their positions at the top of the averages for those who have played more than two games.
Wosh had her best game for the season and DemonJim has been in good form on the forward flank in recent weeks.

Quivorir still leads the averages overall. His points and activity would be very handy if he could stick his hand up for selection with a strong week of posting..

Starting Positions - after Round 10

manangatang and Wosh came back into the team for myself and Azarole . Unfortunately, we still could gat a win, even without me kicking goals for the oppositions.

We now have 12 players who have started in the emergencies this season, with several of the most active posters rotating out to try to give everyone a game. We're hoping to see more from Quivorir and Azarole to see them back in the starting 20, and if Oddhawk is back again this week we could potentially see several changes to the starting line-up over the next week or two.

Waw, we had Oddhawk in last week for a post. Love to see that. Just get Azarole and Heardy_101 back in and we can be one big happy family!

Crazy busy week at work. My tail went numb and I couldn’t swim no more

Positional Changes - Round 9

Another week where the nuimber of position changes (8) pretty much matchedthe average (8.67), 5 in the first half and 3 in the second.

Favourable Changes
DERO sat at centre half forward for three quarters but the ball seemed to move through the flanks more often than not so it didn't really work in his favour.
cooney got a run in the ruck late in th game, but it was too late for him to have any real impact (see below)

Not so favourable changes
PMBangers spent the last one and a half quarters on the bench.
Hate finished the game in the back pocket.
cooney was benched in the first quarter. Then, in the second quarter, he came on in a back pocket before being benched again and then put back on in the other back pocket. He stayed there until the last quarter, where he was finally given a run in the ruck (see above - beware: infinate loop error).

Positional Changes - Season

Observations:
  • cats2rise and Headless both added another position to their resume and have now spent time in eight different onfield positions. DERO joins Proper Gander with six.
  • Ten people have now spent time in the emergencies
  • DERO , manangatang , Bluelegs and jmoo wan have all spent more than 10% of the season on the bench. moginie just missed out on being past of this group by 0.05%.
  • manangatang is the only player regularly selected who has spent no time in defence, while I am the only player at all who has spent no time on the ground in any position other than in defence.
  • cartwright still has not been moved from her starting position at any time this season.

YAY cartwright holding the team together!

The only thing more consistent than our match results this season.
She’s just patiently doing her thang every week, quietly waiting for the rest of us to catch up.

THEN LOOK OUT SFA IN YOUR FACE

Nice Garry
