I believe Hardwick came out in the media and sprouted lines about accountable football. That alone has been enough to scare me off a number of richmond players. Changes in coaching staff is always a nervous time for Dreamteam Coaches.

Oh god. Please don't be another Dean Laidley and not play Martin Rnd 1.

That comment about Martin's defensive game not being good enough was ominous.

This link is the best I was able to find:

I don't think there is a set fixture as such, but Richmond are confirmed to play the loser of North vs Geelong on Feb 27 in Yea:

http://www.afl.com.au/nab challenge ticketing/tabid/15700/default.aspx

I saw those, but on the Bombers board, people are saying we play Melbourne or Freo either at Visy Park or Subi, but I haven't found anything backing that up.

Cheers.:thumbsu:

This post is rubbish mate and you should keep this sort of stuff off the board. Your side weren't overly impressive; you are hardly in a position to be spouting this sort of shit.

Dude we suck. We're a really really shit team and it doesnt even look like we are 'rebuilding' anything decent. We just churn out sub-par players and inject them with the Tiger curse of terrible decision making and poor disposal. I wish I barracked for someone else. Its sad I know, but I'm not kidding.

Anyway as you say this board isnt the place, and I do actually agree with you that getting players just because they have an extra game against Richmond is stupid.

Every year I play a new coach crushes my hopes and dreams

2009:- Neil Craig's screw the rookie's policy
2008:- Dean Laidley's I'll play who and where I want policy
2007:- Terry Wallace drop you like stone to assert my authority policy
2006:- Paul Roos Slow it down, possession football, anti-dreamteam policy

If it wasnt for the coaches this game would be 50% easier. Damien Hardwick's accountablity poilcy 2010?

whos putting rockliff on their fwd bench or maybe thinking of starting him?

Will he be likely to hold his spot for round 1?

huge SC score = makes best 22

huge DT score while following giansiracusa = awesome

wet weather antics = is he a wet weather specialist?

Btw didn't watch the game so i've got no idea.

Would say most Brisbane supporters have rated Rockliff since the start. His game today was only really a matter of time.

Will he play much this year though? Maybe, maybe not, and may not score so much if he plays more forward....

As for Redden. Lots of clearances and an insane amount of tackles today. He will play. Wish he was a touch cheaper....

In the scheme of things, Redden is a cheap mid-pricer when you compare him to Masten/Ward/Cotchin/Mackay/Swift etc.

I think Redden has the potential to average just as much of these guys and his current price therefore suggests he offers greater value than any of them. It just depends on the assumptions you make about each specific player as to where you believe the value lies.

Rockliff played a role that he probably wouldn't get when we have the best 22 playing. Even if he cracked into the side, he woudl find himself in a forward pocket. Would not expect those kind of scores, even if he gets games.

With that said, as a bench player at only around 100k he can average only 50 and still be worth picking up. Redden looking very good, and as show he can get points with a couple of 100 point games in his first year. Bigger stronger faster he might be a real surprise packet.

Still no Gram, Hayes or Dal Santo, so it will be interesting to see who gets midfield time.

Also interested in seeing the role Ben Reid plays.

If I were Mick, I'd not play Ball. Build the suspense for their H&A meeting.

I'd play him now.

If Adelaide met North in the NAB Cup with the Carey/Stevens thing, there wouldn't have been the fortnight long build up and countless stupid questions from the media leading up to the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Malthouse includes him in the after match press conference just to get everything out in the open now. That way, the distractions leading up to the next time they play will be limited.
