I only saw bits of the match, but I thought he did well in a few contests. Liked seeing him take an intercept mark and have the awareness to quickly give it off. Nothing special, but it's the sort of thing plenty of project players never really get.
The one time he kicked the ball was pretty ugly, but you won't see Longer kicking the ball much either(0 kicks for the match).

Getting shitty about preseason performances is like bitching about a gig because the support acts are crap.
I am almost certain we didn't play our normal gameplan. We intentionally kicked to packs.

Have seen plenty on the streets, and work with one, but he's a um "happy" chappie.
Yeah, I was actually impressed with him defensively. I got worried about him with possession, but I always have. He often looks for an out kick but our mids rarely work hard to provide. Generally though I saw some great signs today from him defensively. preseason tick for me
I think the forwards never got seperation from their defenders which resulted in mids just trying to kick to advantage. Need to find allot of mid goals this year
Paparone and c.beams impressed today.
