I'm glad he's tearing it up at Carlton. He never would have had the opportunity to do so at Adelaide and maybe the trade stuck a rocket up his anus
Yeah good luck to him. I'm just pissed off we didn't give him more opportunity. Clearly has the talent and now it's on display for everyone to see.

One thing is for sure, that "Troy Menzel stolen by the crows" thread needs a name change.

"Kerridge thrown away by the crows"

?

:p

I remember when the trade first went through and I went to visit the Carlton board. They weren't sure he'd be in their best 22. I did lol. He's comfortably in their best dozen players.

:$ he just wasn't good enough to get into the side, didn't offer versatility.
Can only play as an inside mid according to some on here.
I would have played him on a HFF in place of Wright. Would have turned a non statistical role into a role that could be measured by a metric known to man.

It was such an obvious move
Even more mind boggling when we decided to delist Wright anyway. Why the **** was he playing if that was the plan??

Feelings of anger are further amplified when you remember Mackay and VB are lacing the boots up as we speak, ready to play* in the tri-colours in the next hour.

*I use this term loosely.

Was playing as a last chance sort of option it felt, seeing if he had what it takes. From our side it looked like the so called non-statistical role was made up by a 9th grader in his/her first term having chosen statistics as an elective.

Lol. I think Blind Freddy could see he was passed it by round 10.

We were going to pick him up as a rookie if he didn't sign with someone. Beech has his spot on the list. Same with Hunter. That was Osbornes spot if he wanted it, but he wanted a senior spot.

That's another thing I don't understand, why bother persisting with Wright when we've got players like Laird and Cameron from the rookie draft in recent memory?

I think it all stems down to one person.
David Noble, he's no good, I think it's time we got rid of him. Has his position ever been under review?
