Any low possession outside players that are at the level we'd want for a decent first rounder?

We paid more for Hill, so we should be looking at this as a bargain.

I like it. We’ve got a team of mostly sh*t kicks, it makes sense to get a guy who is good on both sides.

We've got plenty of good kicks in the team.
That isn't the problem.

The problem is that the good kicks can't get the ball.
And the guys who can get the ball (steele excused), can't kick.

Drafting another nice kick who has question marks over his ability to get the ball any more than a dozen times a game does little to improve our situation on the face of it.

Elite kick basically assures us he won't be a bust. Can't train draftees to kick the ball that well. Great disposal is such an important skill for teams now, especially with the rule changes that have been pushed through and the style of footy the league seems so keen to create.

pretty flat, a bloke that goes at 23% contested and doesn’t accumulate the ball can’t really think of anyone in the league that has done it. especially when we had a top 10 pick and an opportunity to select a 10-15 year midfielder who we are crying out for elite talent. will back him til the cowes come home but can’t help but feel we might look back and think what we’re we thinking?
