Looks very good in that footage and I'm happy with the pick, but jeez we're well stocked for half back types. Obviously someone's earmarked for a shift ot the midfield.

Based solely on the YouTube I reckon he's our Sam Fisher replacement, composed, intercepting, dynamic movement, good user.

Could be entirely wrong though.

Maybe a taller version of Nathan Wright with good kicking a better. comparison.

Looked bloody quick and composed with kicking.

I really like the look of him on YouTube.

Any chance you can edit that first line out? It's not about you, and comes across as a bit disrespectful to Brandon. Just saying... :)
Seems nitpicky to me, so... No.

Not unless a mod feels it's necessary.

Check out his Disposal Efficiency - great kick good hands ND can take a contested grab too

Seems like we have a lot to work with - improve his endurance and he could be anything

135 effective kicks, 47 ineffective. 74.87% KICKING efficiency. Wowzers.
43 effective handballs, 17 ineffective. 71.66% handball efficiency.

Think I've got those stats right. Superb user of the ball.

I'm not a mod but I agree that you should delete the first line. It is a bit like the groom saying he missed out on the maid of honour but happy that he is taking home the bride as consolation.....o_O

It is otherwise rude to the kid and his family who have read this forum in the past.

Just means that we "need" a handful of the current flankers to step up and make that transition to midfield. As the inside players improve, I would think Savage may return to the midfield role he came to us as. Newnes will hopefully keep improving year after year and be a quality mid in his own right, rather than a rotating in flanker as he is right now. Of the rest, McKenzie would be my pick to make the transition. He's a tough bugger so hopefully shouldn't have much problems winning his own ball, while the quality overhead marking, neat disposal and good turn of pace should ideally ensure the "outside" game won't be a problem.

Not nitpicky at all mate.

It's like telling your girlfriend... I would have preferred your sister, but I'll settle for you.
