I drove past on South Road in the first time in a while, and there's temporary fencing up and what looks like construction activity. Is this us, or something else?

That was to take-down the shade-structure for the Lawn Bowls club which is relocating across the road along the River Torrens.I drove past on South Road in the first time in a while, and there's temporary fencing up and what looks like construction activity. Is this us, or something else?
I think they're a bit late for that TBH.Interesting today I received an email from Charles Sturt Council in relation to a Freedom of Information request with regard to getting my permission to use my email correspondence with one of the councillors (and it was a councillor who abstained from voting).
So someone is still trying to stop the SANFL developing West Lakes it would appear.
Feels like it'll be 2030 before we even get inside, road block after road blockAre we there yet?
There arent more roadblocks now, its just how long the building process takes to start TBHFeels like it'll be 2030 before we even get inside, road block after road block
Pretty much yeah.We better start planning now for the next one
Yep, whoever is doing their building consent is pretty slow.I thought we were supposed to start onsite in September?
As a club September doesn’t exist.I thought we were supposed to start onsite in September?
Building consent not granted, a project of this size is fairly complicated and the number of small changes we've had to make..... it's painfulSeptember has passed. October here. What work has commenced on the site as hoped for by John Olsen
Looks a decent crowd, like that all the way around?Speaking with someone in the know on Sunday out at Brighton Homes Arena, they were telling me that our building is at least twice the size of the Brisbane one, wrapping almost half way around the oval. So from the end of the building behind the right goal post around to the “Footy Made by Fans” sign.

It was chockers. They were all there to see the men’s team who were arriving after the game. They couldn’t get in without buying a tickets to the women’s game.Looks a decent crowd, like that all the way around?
I have no doubt we'll get an update on Thebarton with the upcoming Tim Silvers interview on 5AA this week or during the upcoming club champion night.

Blackmail!Clever
It made sense. They only have limited capacity and their fellas had just won a GF. So in order to police the size of the crowd, they were able to tack it onto the girls match.Blackmail!
Not to mention the AFLW fixture was out months before anyone knew Brisbane would be in a GF, let alone win it!It made sense. They only have limited capacity and their fellas had just won a GF. So in order to police the size of the crowd, they were able to tack it onto the girls match.
