People making mountains out of molehills here. Have no issues whatsoever with him waiting until after the GF to make his final presentation, if that's even the case.

It really doesn't delay anything much given the other candidates whoever they may be will have already done theirs. Would have liked an announcement today or hopefully Monday.

I'm sorry but we have had 3 months to do our due diligence on potential coaches. It's been nearly a week since the season finished, it should have been announced by now.

Can't help but think we have taken the 'nice guy' stance and held of on finalizing the process until after everyone has finished their respective seasons. Whilst probably respected by the other clubs, this does my head in.

No reason why we couldn't have finalized the process during the last few months and held of on the announcement until the week after the GF. I thought this was the case, but the delay has me worried.

If an announcement isn't made by Monday, I'm throwing in the towel on it.

Given we and Hawthorn were at the forefront of the new coach poaching guidelines im not shocked at all.

Why are people worried about something we can't control.

Want to come and play poker at my joint?

if we are sitting on pocket aces I'm happy to wear that. I had expected an announcement by now, that's all, and that has made me question where we are at in this process.

No worries, I understand the frustration I guess.

I just don't know why people are stressing. We aren't in a race against time. We aren't battling with other clubs for coaches. We set a timeline. The key players know who the coach is - in fact it's pretty obvious it's Pyke - but we're obviously not finished with all the pieces of the puzzle yet.

You expected an announcement prior to when the deadline the club stated was going to happen.

Hopefully Donny is in it for the long haul. Excluding Phil changing your coach every 3 ir so years is Glenelg like.

Sanderson was coach for three years. Craig before him was coach for much longer. If you exclude Craig Sando is the only one that fits your narrative in the past decade.

Not sure why the comparison needs to be made.

Caroline Wilson told Rucci it was Caracella yesterday after on FiveAA.

He'd previously only mentioned O'Donnell.

Exactly at the start of the show yesterday Rucci was trying to insist it must be something to do with Aish. A last ditch effort perhaps he called it.

I honestly don't think adelaide even looked at Aish.

So...the club stated deadline still hasn't been hit yet people are freaking out that we don't have a coach? I'm confused.

The Aish bit was all part of Rucci's ongoing line about the Crows going hard after players and never getting them.
