The thought that we let an AA wingman slip by twice depresses me, lol.I’d say with his cultural background he would’ve been eligible then.
Usually there are at least half a dozen kids on the western jets list each season that come from Point Cook, Werribee Districts and Hoppers Crossing.
This season they had the following players listed:
Obie Miller (Werribee Districts)
Tom Burton (Point Cook)
Max Downing (Point Cook)
Macauli Buck (Werribee)
Oscar Burt (Werribee)
Rani Pavlidis (Werribee)
The Werribee junior leagues are pretty strong so it wouldn’t surprise me if we got an academy player from there in future years, especially considering the growth in the area.
Yes but mainly he was going to buy a house in Altona North but he decided to grab one in point cook due to his missus (I'm his cousin).Massimo D’Ambrosio was originally from Point Cook, that must be close to our zone.
And we have done nothing in the Irish space (women have with oshea bull and martin)NGA and Cat B are unused pathways for us.
The blokes can't even get local stuff right, let's crawl before they walk on this one.And we have done nothing in the Irish space (women have with oshea bull and martin)
How can we regret Sanders? The NGA rules at the time didn't give us the right to match the bid.The blokes can't even get local stuff right, let's crawl before they walk on this one.
We will live to regret Sanders for a long time.
If NM took a proactive stance on requesting priority access more than 3 minutes before the draft happened, it would have been passed. How can we regret Sanders? The NGA rules at the time didn't give us the right to match the bid.
100% false. The AFL knocked back this request months before the draft. The club was told this a long time before it was confirmed in the media. The AFL simply didn't want to give us Sanders as our priority pick.If NM took a proactive stance on requesting priority access more than 3 minutes before the draft happened, it would have been passed.
At the time. The rules have been conveniently flip-flopping depending on who needs an NGA top-up.How can we regret Sanders? The NGA rules at the time didn't give us the right to match the bid.
Thank f*ck. This club has looked like amateurs for the last ten years.Holding tryouts in Wyndham soon. Looks like there's finally some more resourcing going into this space.

MacInnes was appointed as the new head coach of North Melbourne’s Next Generation Academy in July this year. North Melbourne’s Head of Strategic Operations and Projects, Nathan Hrovat, emphasised Hamish’s value, “Hamish's background in teaching and his work in game development at AFL Vic and the Werribee Football Club further strengthens our connection with one of our NGA zones. He will be a great asset to our club, supporting the delivery of academy programs in the region through participation and talent identification initiatives."
