Been a tough year up at the showgrounds but i am led to believe no poorer performance than those associated with the Banyule football club this afternoon. Not one person, player or official, ventured into the rooms after the game. You don't have to drink but win, lose or draw should be a given you stick your head in.

That’s bullshit Rocket & you know it.
Players managed with soreness were legit.
Surely they were actually legitimately injured and not just sore. There was 3 games left before today and that loss could have cost them there season. They are zero chance from outside the top 3. So im not buying they were just sore.

No doubt let an opportunity slip & you would have to ask the players whether they were switched on. You could see it in the first 10 minutes that Boro were hungrier & outworked the Doggies.

Full credit to Boro they were outstanding & in EJ Whitten’s words “stuck it right up ‘em”.

Very strange as they were well represented in the after match when we played them. I would say the best out of all the clubs we have played. Woudl have to be some sort of reason for this to happen. Any incidents throughout the day?

Mckernan, Fitzgerald and Jetta all available come finals. I don't think Butterworth (3) and Malia (3) will play. But that means you can only play 2 of the 3.
Given their injury run this year, who knows who will be available come finals time….

Ramsey has a decent resume, they seem to have a decent plan down there.
May not be the popular view on this forum, but Ramsay is an overrated coach. Had a great list for many years and was out-coached in multiple grand finals. Then went to the big spending Magpies with a big reputation and didn’t fire a shot.

Div 2 is his level and good luck to him with his next gig. One thing he’s good at is bringing people together. He’ll need that skillset at Whittlesea!

I watched Gary closely during his time at Macleod and it was amazing to watch him take a very average division one side to become a dominant one for about four seasons with limited big name recruits.
The whole club improved as well with I think all three sides finishing top in 2017.
A lack of quality rucks were the cause of the 2017 and 2018 losses with Dennis and Kovacic dominating and winning the BOG medal, in both games the margins were close so not out coached IMO.

I thought he left Monty as he was burnt out and not coaching again? or was that BS and he got the flick from Monty?
Either way strange to return to a DIV 2 club given his record but all the best to him

In the last 2 rounds only one game with the current top 5 teams playing each other. Mont and NH play each other final round. Really the only interesting mach up alongwith Boro and Bridge this week.

Suspect we'll be seeing a few more "managed" outs in the next couple weeks.

I heard at least 5 maybe 6 Bundoora reserve’s players will go to Lalor next year now Lance is locked in.????
Interesting in 2 ways. Lalor surely improve?
Bundoora Reserves stocks????
Having forfeited reserves and 19's this year, where are the Bulls getting players from next year??

Not to mention a junk of there seniors are gone asweell. Huge concerns down there I'm hearing. Massive off-season coming up for them. You'd hate for then to end up like a Lalor. Who were once a powerhouse aswell.
