D2 was boring all year to be fair. Nothing on the recruitment front, and all eyes were on Sth, DC or Whit as the GF winner.

Can’t see how 3 teams fighting to win a flag would be boring compared to Div 1 only having the 1 realistic team winning it.

Everyone hyped up Thomastown even St Marys at the offseason they had too so wouldn’t say it was too boring..

Comment of the year. 3 teams fighting for a flag and the winner came from 3rd spot, yet boring 🤦‍♂️
SM won the flag from 3rd and win all there finals by a combined total of 6 points. Included extra time in the first final v Creek. Snooze fest!

Looking forward who outside of Creek and Whit challenges Macleod for the flag? Have LP St Mary’s or Thomo done enough to be in the bracket?

Not yet.

I don’t mind what lower has done. Feel there’s a a bit of a hole in div 2 from 4 down.
Once you make finals anything could happen.

Young reserves players from Div 1 clubs renowned for strong two’s sides. There is a difference!
For once I agree brutal. They are super young. Lots of talent. I’ll be the first to admit I thought they would be in div 3. But watched them at the start of the year and a couple games before finals I think they’ve got a lot of potential.
I’m not saying they’lll win the flag but they could.

Gee Lower would be disappointed.
Going to be tough have him play against us but parking all club biases to one side, I think you have to respect that he has stayed on board at Macleod through relegation to help them potentially get back up.

Especially when it may have been easy to go to a Heidelberg which by all reports was a distinct possibility.

Can confirm he was a bee's proverbial from signing with Berg. Good show of character for him to stay on with Macleod, credit to him.
