agree wholeheartedly. the overwhelming majority of footy fans enjoy a drink. Pricing beers to limit drinking won’t reducing drinking it’ll just stop people from going to games.Agree. Think you need to get the balance right on revenue generation v supporting local football followers v supporting responsible drinking culture. By that I mean don't push the prices up to a level that it creates other issues
a) Lower sales
b) Binge drinking before match at local pub/bowls club.
The proof will be in the numbers, but if the number of units sold over the finals drops significantly then the NFNL has done itself and its football community a disservice. But if people drink anyway - char ching $$$$ - and it will keep going up until the supply v demand trend alters.
