I was standing in the members bar at Flemington with my old man in about 1992, and Dermie is pretty chummy with my Dad. Some blonde walked past (who turned out to be Simone Callihan) and Dermie's exact words were "Thommo, thats the bitch I broke my dick on!"
He said it loud enough for quite a few people to hear him, and he was told by a VRC guy to pull his head in.
