I would settle for a draw. Honestly, the tears, moral victory, wewouldawonifnotfortherain bulshit they have spouted throughout the series makes the victory even sweeter this way
On the other hand, a comprehensive whitewash would still be sweet

While it's never fun losing, I think its hilarious that the series was drawn, there was all the drama about all the things, BUT WE STILL HAVE THE ASHES!
I couldn't believe we lost when I woke up this morning, I went to sleep around 10.30 with it raining there and assumed it would either rain out, or we would either have made the runs or not had enough time so drawn. I did not think a loss was going to happen given only 3 down and raining. Pretty disappointed but as others have said, 2-2 is pretty fair. We were probably lucky to get away with that really. Seems like that ball change was a pretty big factor in the end.
While Australia were disappointed only drawing the series to retain the ashes it's rare for any touring side to win away from home.

Such an entertaining match and a solid defensive showing. Still haven’t had to rely on one of the best players in the world yet. Going to be huge to have Sam fit and firing in the latter stages
