How many final losses before Geelong stops topping up at the trade table? Never good enough when it matter under Scott minus year 1 when it wasn’t his list. Probably only top end due to their home ground advantage at Geelong

Cats were much better than I expected. Credit to them. Kelly and Selwood were absolutely immense but they couldn’t go with Richmond when they turned it on.

Have to ask why you would play Blicavs on the wing for 10 pretty inconsequential touches while Tom Lynch gives a 47 year old Harry Taylor a bath.

Because other than having a late team change, playing Blicavs with his enormous endurance (he was a steeplechaser donchaknow)on the wing is the one and only coaching trick that he has in his kit bag.

No it’s not rocket science you win 10 hone games due to your hone game advantage and then win 4 dud games away from hone from crap sides and you are top 4 e d of story. Nobody in the AFL has as much ground advantage as the cats due to its dimensions
