They do the hard stuff, contested marking, move it fast and always have strong representation in #s up forward. Good mix of kids and experience.

Last 48 hours have reminded me to be thankful that at least I’m not a Melbourne or Carlton fan. Two very different but equally embarrassing performances.

I understand that our game is the hardest game in the world to officiate but sometimes the umpiring just sucks. Last week Cripps gets absolutely molested any time he goes near and even off the ball...typical North Scumbaggery (Jed Anderson doing his usual fake tough guy act).

So tonight....any time Cripps goes near the ball he gets a free. How about a little bit of moderation. I’d hate to be a player trying to negotiate these rules and the interpretation that changes game by game depending on the media and who whinges.
