Good to see the consistency of the dissent rule this year, what a ****ing joke to say the least. Robinson should have been hit with a 50m penalty for arguing over the late bump but didnt. 1/2 a season ago even raising your arms was dissent.

Brad Scott and his fairy umpiring rules have to GAGF'D

BT & James Brayshaw do it every game.

Hodgey I’ll half forgive, as he’s as dumb as dog s***.

The callers need to be more professional, though.

Relieved we don't have to hear 'The Human Meatball' again this year. Seriously, WTF?

However we don't get away from Taylor's odd fascination with umpires, bouncing the ball and just all round d***ishness and Gil's brother and his This is Your Life style of commentary.

Thats just his normal face.

He just comes across as a black hole of fun on the field.

I suspect that the last score review might get a few mentions over the coming week.

For mine, It looked to go straight over the post. Correct decision.

There will be a bit of gibbon-screeching about it in the media but it was the right decision, even if they got there in a roundabout way.

The umpires didn't make 4 Richmond guys fail to defend or spoil 1 Joe Daniher in the end.

Lynch controversy evens out the awful free paid against Daniher. He made a genuine attempt at the mark and knee’d Tarrant in the shoulder.

That was a shocker, Tarrant literally got a free for fairly losing a run of the mill marking contest.

Imagine if that Bolton missed holding the ball late had resulted in a Tigers goal? And how about Cotchin just blatantly holding the arm of McCarthy for about 30m before one of those last stoppages.

Even that Rich call was harsh.

Shocking umpiring.

I was just watching the call of the last goal on Triple M's YouTube channel and lo and behold one of my former students from the 70s appears to be one of the callers - Barry Denner. Had no idea that he is a broadcaster. He was a really nice kid 40+ years ago!

I was comfortable with the Daniher free. You can’t just take a bloke out of the contest and not touch the ball. It only feels controversial because of the consequence. If it was just Tarrant and Daniher with no-one else around then people would see it as an obvious free I think.

It was a marking contest that Daniher was in, it wasn’t like he run well under it and made an unrealistic attempt.

I don’t know how that can be a free kick.

I've seen similar contests get called play on, a free to the forward and a free to the defender, it's pretty much a raffle.
