He and the umpires were spectating hard for the Tigers. How about Taylor's commentary 'Richmond lose...Richmond lose...Richmond are out, Richmond are out.................
..........
........Brisbane go on to play next week.'
They started playing the Richmond song after the game then they quickly changed it lolGreat game and all, but seriously, the last 10-15 minutes was horrifically umpired.
It’s almost as if they were barracking for Richmond.
That’s understandable, they were just playing to the script. They started playing the Richmond song after the game then they quickly changed it lol
BT & James Brayshaw do it every game. How's Luke Hodge barracking during the whole call for Brisbane.
This is the standard of AFL commentary they accept?
Depending on the angle between the different camera shots, I think they actually were able to make a conclusive call on it given all angles showed the ball over the post.Pretty spurious evidence to overturn Lynch’s goal. Hometown decision. Reminiscent of the Brisbane timekeeper last year.
BT & James Brayshaw do it every game.
Hodgey I’ll half forgive, as he’s as dumb as dog s***.
The callers need to be more professional, though.
Thats just his normal face.
He just comes across as a black hole of fun on the field.
I suspect that the last score review might get a few mentions over the coming week.
For mine, It looked to go straight over the post. Correct decision.
That was a shocker, Tarrant literally got a free for fairly losing a run of the mill marking contest.Lynch controversy evens out the awful free paid against Daniher. He made a genuine attempt at the mark and knee’d Tarrant in the shoulder.
LOLThey played the start of the Tigers song when the siren blew
I was comfortable with the Daniher free. You can’t just take a bloke out of the contest and not touch the ball. It only feels controversial because of the consequence. If it was just Tarrant and Daniher with no-one else around then people would see it as an obvious free I think. That was a shocker, Tarrant literally got a free for fairly losing a run of the mill marking contest.
Imagine if that Bolton missed holding the ball late had resulted in a Tigers goal? And how about Cotchin just blatantly holding the arm of McCarthy for about 30m before one of those last stoppages.
Even that Rich call was harsh.
Shocking umpiring.
It was a marking contest that Daniher was in, it wasn’t like he run well under it and made an unrealistic attempt.I was comfortable with the Daniher free. I've seen similar contests get called play on, a free to the forward and a free to the defender, it's pretty much a raffle.I was comfortable with the Daniher free.
