It was unfortunate for Port that Brisbane lifted.

The good news is, they will play enough bottom 10 sides to finish top 4. Keeping Ken there into 2023.

Finals??? That half was like 2 bottom 4 teams, horrible turnover by both teams not under pressure. Any decent top 8 side would have been at least 5 goals up at half time against the Lions. Port Power lifted a bit in the 3rd quarter but the Lions finally played like a top 8 side in the last quarter.

I reckon they are not too far off the mark. They WERE competing better than the normally do, and it was finals like pressure… however once Brisbane finally turned up to play, Port had run out of petrol tickets… and also shat the bed when the heat was turned up.

Out of every Port supporter I know, there was not one who even knew who he was

Port Adelaide are the real deal. That game was full of clangers and desperation, however when they scored goals they did them effortlessly. If not for a few injuries tonight, even after their loss, I would still have marked them as a top four team. Now maybe just outside the four. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t be happier with Port losing in round 1. Let’s just not get ahead of ourselves….yet!

He didn't say it was final like pressure, he said it was a "terrific final worthy game". No finals has that many turnover corridor kicks and delivery inside 50 without under pressure and miss handball going to ground and some directly to Port Power players. The Lions cleaned their disposal late in the 3rd and 4th quarter and Port Power played like how they usually played against a top 8 side.....sh*t.
