bahahahaha… the “sack Hinkley” thread is just delicious!..

they cant sack the ****n spud.. the AFL wont let them.. not only can they not afford to sack him, they cant afford to pay the top coin they would need to hire a great new coach.

they are stuck with the flog.

probably over $15m in debt by now.. the AFL wont be signing off on any more big ticket items for them.

Looking at the general stats there's zero reason you'd expect that result.

+73 disposals
+ 8 contested
+67 uncontested
+25 clearances
+17 tackles
+12 inside 50's
Great example why Aussie Rules is a hard sport to quantify.

Port and capitulating for special occasions. Name a more iconic duo.

Live ladder has them in 17th at the moment.

Whenever it's a special game you can almost put your house on Port getting their pants pulled down 🤣🤣🤣

I still think the funniest was the 150 year celebration game against a winless Richmond side where they lost in front of 12k fans

The funniest thing isn't that they're losing, it's that they think Hinkley has somehow destroyed some amazing list. They're a bog standard squad who had consecutive years of the softest fixtures you'll see.
lol.

It kinda makes it beautiful really.

Regardless of where they finish this year, Ken will be coaching them in 2023.

Port look bad. Have what, 3 or 4 players missing with injury? Senior players generally look a bit off their form from recent years. Suddenly a bunch of their 'young guns' look a lot more average. Cracks are showing - reckon they are close to the cliff.
Clurey (somehow he is an important player now???), Dixon and Gray (both well past their best) and Aliir compare to our outs of Laird, Walker and Seedsman against Collingwood today.
