Gale is very down to earth, and would earn the respect of anyone from footy supporter, to AFL boards, to corporate partners.

He would be a great AFL CEO.

Gillon might have made some good moves off the field but the actual product, the quality of the game itself, has been reduced through his tinkering and he's failed to address any of the major concerns fans have

I agree, he has been great commercially and keeping the game going in Covid but the actual product is poor and frustrating to watch.
