Our first loss in R2 was to West Coast by 2 points and our second loss to Richmond in R8 by 3 points.

At the end of R16 we were 14-2 with a % of 172.38. We were so dominant.

I think that was under Craig? If so that’s when other teams were saying “Just give them the flag now”. IIRC they had no answer to our defensive structures

Think you can't be tested for recreational drugs when on MH leave. Used to be the case.
"Hypothetically" speaking of course, if youre on MH leave its your best opportunity to take rec drugs without any issues whatsoever.

Or just go hiding in Vegas...

Mentioning 2005-2006 should be a card-able offence. The years that should've been, but never were. Can't beat a team hulking on pingers.
Sydney did ;)

In the AFL, when you are "away" on "Personal Leave" are you or can you still be drug tested?

That’s an excellent question and I’m not sure the answer is that straightforward

There were certain levers in the past that players could pull within the CBA that opened a trap door to evade testing.

Not sure if they have all been closed?

Mind you personal leave could just as easily be a consequence of testing…

Anyway, you suspect the reason for no transparency is strategic somehow

Tonight made last weeks win look kind of mediocre.
Rounds 8-11 should show us where we really are

Think you will find that Melbourne are streets ahead of the next challengers, Brisbane and Geelong. Fremantle and St Kilda are below them.

The next few games after GWS being Carlton, Brisbane, St Kilda and Geelong will truly show how far we have progressed. A 2-2 win/loss record would be a phenomenal result.
