Yeah, pretty poor to use Dimattina's ailing health as a reason to use that headline when it clearly states within the article that it is uncertain what the actual decisive factor was.

Off-field issues and inconsistent form have muddied Powell-Pepper’s obvious potential, so if he’s able to get everything to click in 2022, he could almost be as good as a new recruit for the Power as they look to go a couple of steps better than this year’s preliminary final thumping.

The Eagles also expect Campbell Chesser will remain in Victoria at this stage after West Coast used their first pick (No.14) to select the dashing defender who grew up in Wodonga. They are waiting to see what happens with the border restrictions to determine exactly when Chesser relocates.
