Gives them Little time to find a suitable replacement before preseason starts.

I think that most of the 1966 St Kilda Premiership team are dead or locked up in the dementia ward of a nursing home. Most of their teams in-between have been little different to the current one.

More likely separate to the AFL investigation. Mediation is a very ordinary part of a legal dispute. Which looks like having some grounds and occurring regardless of the outcome of the investigation. Settling financially won’t halt that. That said, didn’t read the article.
