Ah yes, well I am sad about our injuries too, fully accept that we are rebuilding and will be in for some “painful” times ahead. It is what it is. For our clubs, we don’t have the advantages of being based in VIC (ala Geelong/Richmond) to keep topping up and “contending” or Sydney with their academy etc. or even having the VFL bail you out so you can start again (Melbourne).

Tis this utter mess of a “competition”.
I am happy seeing our younger players getting an opportunity, I think we have drafted well the last two years and are on the way.

As is the AFC. Genuine positivity and exciting times for you guys

Another club coming in for Kern was the perfect solution for Port so they didn’t have to pay him out.

Now they’ve just basically wasted this year.

I can see their attendances falling if this lingers. Might need to bring back the tarps.

I think Hinkley will go to the Gold Coast in some capacity. I'm not a huge Josh Carr fan as a coach but looks like he is heading for the senior role.

What they still have going for them is Rozzee and JHF are elite players that they will be able to retain for their entire career.
