feel some genuine excitement and connection after hearing tredrea today. How true is everything he said! I havent felt this in years rather its been a waiting game suspended belief that a ken coached port was capable of achieving anything. Plus the shock at how poor, defensive and deluded the club leadership has been.
Its going to finally happen - I hope.
Lol lurker fail.

What are you talking about?

They've got a great list, so they tell everyone.

Depth like Trent Dumont, Dylan Williams, Jed McEntee, Jackson Mead, Francis Evans, Ollie Lord

Overflowing with depth
I think just having 5 specialist Ruckmen on your list alone hurts your depth.

And none of them good enough to replace Lycett who is cooked says a lot about their development in the last few years. Very strange recruitment of him on big money when they already had Ryder who eventually left them, it's like they just get anyone who wants to join them.....

Don't take this the wrong way....we don't:moustache:

Do you think port were thinking they were getting Ryan?

Hmm, yes maybe BT was involved in the recruitment (infamous for calling Rioli Ryan and vice versa MORE than once 🤦‍♂️).

The contract that Port has given him is… irresponsible to be honest. He does not have the discipline to be an AFL player. There was a bit posted on our board in the aftermath of his departure, several posters with reasonable intel referring to the playing group having enough of him, he needed a near full time minder just to keep him functioning (going to training etc.).

What rankled the most was that WCE ceased all contract negotiations/talks whilst he grieved the loss of his father and all the while his manager was actively dealing with Port. I think Port made the approach during this period.

Many things, but a 4 year deal for a 27 year old with a history of injury plus the off-field drama… I would be shocked if he plays out the full four years.

I mean, it isn't much of a surprise. He doesn't look like he is in the best shape he possibly could be in.

Port cannot afford to pay out Ken's contract.

Yeah, it’s interesting, he looked really fit prior to the season during preseason, but then on the weekend, not as such!

Definitely no surprise at all. I (along with other WCE supporters) are grateful to him for his efforts in 2018, will always be part of our history etc. but yeah, the way in which he departed has left a bitter taste to be honest.

Port probably thought they'd get the 2018 version instead of the Wish.com version.

Amazing they’ve stuck with Ken for so long. What a waste of a decade. Really should have cut their losses at end of last year and now this is another season down the drain.

No way Hinkley sees out the year. Fully expect him to be gone at mid season break.

Don’t think Carr is the answer but more power to them.

Great bunch of young players though so they’d be smart to bottom out for a year or two and reload.

Bad year to give away your first and second round pick though. North might win the JHF trade after all.
