Get the Google TV version (if you haven't already) you can load the app on it and it runs perfectly
Yep, that's what I have. I wouldn't bother with anything else, has always worked perfectly.

If you have a tv that’s capable you can stream to it without adding or setting anything up on it (other than connecting to wifi)
It's just poor quality (low res) and can be a bit choppy if you screen cast from your phone to the TV. That tech isn't really designed for the bitrate needed for watching sport.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that I have been streaming Foxtel direct to my tv but I’ve remembered now it’s using the Foxtel app on the tv.
I do stream fox regularly through chromecasts in our food vans and it’s been fantastic.

This casting to a chrome cast cast from a hotspot to a device to a tv seems like an awful lot of bullshit to stream a game of footy.
...only to watch your team pipped in the final minute by a BS goal umpiring decision

I think it was poor judgement by Burton even though he has a relationship with the family. I wouldn't want one of our players to do that.

One thing for sure is despite his denials Tredrea would have been ringing anyone at the club that would listen to complain about it.

I mean Burton has always been a dumb **** so no surprise really.

ADELAIDE

Chris Burgess (old club: Gold Coast) – Played mainly as a key forward during his time at the Suns, Burgess is a red-hot chance to slot into Adelaide’s back six as they try to figure out their key defensive stocks. Spent the majority of the VFL season last year playing key back, so he could fill that void with some experience.

Geez fair effort to kick 61 goals while playing key back

Human Rights Commission rejects attempt to have Hawthorn racism claims dismissed

The Human Rights Commission has dismissed an attempt to have the racism claims by former Hawthorn players and their partners thrown out.

An attempt to have the Hawthorn racism scandal thrown out by the Human Rights Commission has failed, meaning a world-first hearing in professional sport could still play out.
It’s understood lawyers for Hawthorn, and for two senior football staff — Alastair Clarkson and Jason Burt — petitioned to have the racism claims made by former players and their partners dismissed by the HRC.

The move was rejected by the HRC.

Brisbane coach Chris Fagan, who was named in the Binmata Report alongside Clarkson and Burt, was not part of the petition.

The racism claims — made by former Hawks Cyril Rioli, Carl Peterson, Jermaine Miller-Lewis and Indigenous club liaison Leon Egan, and partners Shannyn Ah Sam-Rioli and Montanah Miller-Lewisian — were from 2008-2016.
The Human Rights processes are not governed by Statute of Limitations, but have broad discretion to accept claims.

Conciliation is the next step in the process and if that fails to find a resolution, the next step is a hearing in the Federal Court.

Previous attempts at mediation under Bernie Quinn, KC, who was appointed as head of the AFL inquiry into the Hawks racism scandal, also failed.

The HRC protocols offer the players and partners protection to speak freely about the events they claim happened when at Hawthorn.
Clarkson, Fagan and Burt have strongly denied the racism claims, which makes any conciliation ahead of a potential Federal Court hearing unlikely.

If the hearing takes place, it’s believed it would be a world-first where elite sports coaches would be prosecuted for claims of systemic racism.

All witnesses would be required to have sworn testimony and be subjected to cross examination.

Hawthorn president Andy Gowers said on Thursday: ‘’We want to see this matter resolved fairly for everyone involved. This has been our focus from the outset.
Hawthorn, Claskson, Afl - Lift carpet. sweep sweep sweep sweep sweep sweep.

Interesting...

Shane McAdam (Adelaide) – The ex-Crow has been on lighter duties throughout pre-season, often seen at training working separate from the group. The Dees need some more energy forward so he is sure to play a big part.
im shocked …… doesn’t like their fitness programme

It'll happen at Melbourne I reckon with their current side
Nah, we did well there. It took him ages to break into the AFL system because of his work ethic, which was barely adequate. Then struggled to sustain it to remain on the park. Under the most sought after Fitness guy in the AFL. A leopard doesnt change its spots.

Supreme talent. I'd still prefer him playing for the Crows.

Ex cable Foxtel guy here. Now with Kayo. Best way if you are casting from a phone? I have a s**t tonne of data on my phone but no home internet plan. I use the app on my tv and get a fair bit of buffering. When its bad its real bad, when it's good it's good.
I have an Ipad pro.. 12 inch screen.. have had one since 2015.. first one lasted me till end 2022, then I bought the newer model..

I watch all my footy on that via Kayo or, if I am out and about, on my Iphone..

I never watch it on my TV.. ipad sits on my lap whilst I drink beer with one hand and post in the “game day” thread on the other.. i’ve mastered this shit!

I’m just used to it now..

Never really have drama’s.. sure, it chews the data (8GB per game).. But I get Kayo for $17 (basic) a month through my telstra account and have 180gb data per month to share across my phone and Ipad.. and also have home wifi.. I have never run out of mobile data..

Never have buffering issues.. only had a Kayo issue in one crows game last year but that was a Kayo issue not one on my end..

Any reason you don’t watch it on a tv?
