I will reiterate, Clarkson is an absolute POS. How dare his initial response be regarding the fact he wasn't consulted or interviewed during the external review process! Of course you weren't, you degenerate f*ck! Responding in this defensive and aggressive manner further proves his guilt in my opinion. I think Fagan is also involved, and may be more inclined to face the music and accept his lot.

I've been wondering about that a lot today whilst mentally going through our past history and Yarran was the major one that came to mind. That was incredibly sad and I was and still am disappointed in how little help we gave him. Genuinely shed a few tears when the worst came for him
Actually, any disappointment from the family was cast purely at Ross.
Apparently he had done some good work in helping Yarran transition into the club, but once he went downhill the door was firmly shut.
When he left us, many players reached out to the family but there was stone cold silence from Ross himself.
That's a tad disappointing.
I don't think the situations are that similar though - in Ross's situations it was a lack of duty of care and connection perhaps.
With the Hawks situation you are talking about powerful non-Indigenous men intervening in young Aboriginal families and coercing them to make decisions that (perceivably) benefit their football club and compound trauma and suffering. Quite different.

Immediately this suggest that this happened well prior to 2010/2011. Removing a SIM card from a smart phone doesn’t prevent anything - social media like WhatsApp, Insta, Snapchat etc have nothing to do with SIM cards. Post 2012, it would be virtually impossible to prevent someone from making contact with family, short of taking them prisoner and removing their phone altogether.
From about 2010 -2012 the use of socials and smartphones exploded across the globe.
The report is gruesome reading however and if true it’s certainly the end of Clarkson, and it would serve him right.
