Free-kick tally was something like 21-6 at half time, and the Lions were only 7 points up. It ended up 28-16, so despite Richmond having more free kicks in the 2nd half, Brisbane extended their lead. But according to the Tigger fans, it's all the umpires' fault they lost.

Imbeciles.

Full credit to Brisbane on the win - they are the real deal

However i thought Rich also played quite well ( actually alot better than last week - even though they won last week )

Balta and Houli who perhaps have been down a little bit this year - i thought they both played very well like last year

Tigers are a certainty to be 7-5 after their next 2 games - they will win those in a canter - those 2 games are unloseable

Rich are like a boxer - you count them out - when their actually counted out - otherwise you are a total mug

8 games out of 12 to come in the H/A at the G for the Tigers, top 8 guaranteed.

That said, they've been beatable at the G this year. Softish draw in the back half but they should be 3 games behind 7th spot by the end of the round - a long way back. I'd say top 4 would be almost out of the question.

lol, Richmond aren't cooked at all. Wait till they get back Lambert, Cotchin, Bolton, Prestia and Edwards.

They'll smash us at the MCG in the finals. Highly doubt Brisbane beat them again even at the Gabba in September.

If they finish 5-8 we probably wont have to face them in finals though.

But he did a 360 in the gf. No one was within 5 metres of him but no one mentioned that.

Almost as good as his partner in crime Andrew Krakouer.

I'm so glad Lonner's won a flag that year after almost losing his life earlier in his career, Good ole Bruce saying it would be a fairy tale if Krakouer won a premiership.

Piss easy draw will save the Tigers otherwise I honestly think they'd miss the 8.
As long as they start to get players back soon which sounds like they will you would be a fool to be against them making top 8.

GWS missing finals if it happens only has themselves to blame for shitting the bed against Rich last week.

And Freo and Saints are to inconsistent i my view to be able to knock the Tigers out.

The top 8 is now only jockeying for positions I can' see anyone outside now playing a role in September.

I think they are cooked. They look like Geelong 2012. Hawthorn 2016.
everyone said all year to watch out for those teams. No one wants them in finals. They are still the team to beat.

richmond aren’t just losing games now they are losing badly. And there injury lists aren’t as big as people are making out. Their percentage is a bigger sign of how badly they are going then their win loss ratio.

the game has changed this year and Richmond are older and have been left behind.

both Brisbane And Geelong have topped up their foward line. Added some outside speed. Melbourne and Footscray are playing scary good football. Richmond have fallen away.

I’m declaring it. Richmond are done. it’s highly unlikely they make the prelims.

Noticing a sever lack of criticism (nothing on the AFL site) of Hardwick sooking about umpires this morning unless it is much more apparent in VIC

Contrast that compared to After our game against Geelong and all the sh*t Scott got hmm double standards much
Nah. Last night on Fox after the game they gave him a massive serve for whinging about everything.
Worse than I've seen Scott get.

Afl site just wants you to see what they want.
Has anyone noticed the complete lack of press the Stkilda peedo ring has got from the Hun etc?
Probably the biggest AFL scandal in a while and the AFL partners won't report on it.

In hindsight 2012 really was a massive underperformance though tbh given that a) only 12 months previous in 2011 we were basically unstoppable with a very similar group of players and b) only 12 months later we made another prelim with a very similar group of players with a brand of footy than was arguably better at its best than any other side including Hawthorn (I still say 2013 is the best footy we've produced post-2011).

There is some merit in your view. But for whatever reason we fell behind the pack that year. after round 10 we had 6 wins and a percentage of 111. Richmond currently have 5 wins and a percentage of 99.

we never got back into that season and were smashed in the first final. Richmond are performing even worse then we were. I think Richmond are going to be in the same boat. They just don’t look like getting into this season. They are getting beaten easily by the top teams.

No totally disagree - Cats and Eagles were stiff/robbed by the draw - both missed the top 4 by 1 game from memory - where as Syd and Crows got very soft draws - got those piiss week interstate teams twice

Thats why i liked last year 2020 - everyone played everyone once - it was totally 100% fair
