1st QF is on a Friday because SF are on a Saturday, so you get an extra days break. Its frustrating because you want the extra day, but it completely *s over our fans.

Last years QF was a Saturday, and has been in the past.
I assume it's usually a Friday night for what you say, as well as usually being a big blockbuster match up.
If we play an interstate team I'm fine with Friday night, it's just if we face an MCG tenant like 2017 where it's essentially an away final after finishing on top.

Amazing momentum swing for Carlton. They looked dead in the water.
Even when Johnson slotted that goal and the crowd went dead I did notice Blues contested work and work ethic didn't drop. They looked dead in the water but no heads dropped. And now the goals are going through they look amazing.

Quarter time at Marvel
Enjoyable game so far
St Kilda having a crack but Sydneys class has them in front
Live ladder has us up against Freo

I scratched my head when a few here declared the Pies the premiership favourite (or Geelong's biggest threat) after they scraped the Dees game. That streak really got people drinking the Kool Aid.

They are simply not that good and haven't been all season.

I know there's still a quarter to go in this match, but are these last two matches from Collingwood a bit more reflective on where they actually sit in terms of the ladder position when compared with how much they were talked up at times during that 11 game winning streak?

Yes they had some good wins during that streak, but they also had some very scratchy wins where they got out of jail, and just maybe those wins gave a false sense of how they were actually traveling compared with the rest of the comp
