Guys I hate to do this to everyone, but it really does feel like we're about to enter a new era of Hawks / Cats dominance.

Not sure my heart can take round 7 of this nonsense 😭😅

Let’s not overdo it , it’s a very long year and while they look good I feel they aren’t quite there just yet

While every coach will keep telling you it's one week of the time, I'll bet most including one Chris Scott are already planning strategies for Hawthorn bring on Easter Monday lets see where both sides are at.
I suspect the club will go with a high intensity tackling plan like last week , Hawks are a very fit side but seem to lack that part of the game imo

It may be a difference

Oh but didn't you see the constant stat they were pumping about how overwhelmingly successful the Hawks have been in the last 15 years when they start a season 3-0? Hand them the cup now.

They've got no small forwards. Had a quick squiz at their board, blimey they've gone into sack Voss mode. Not sure what they all mean by dump kicks? They had the same number of forward entries but failed to capitalise, with their main goalkicker not in form. Can be fixed. Shit umpiring out of their hands though.
Everyone playing Hawks at the moment are also up against the umps. There was one where Docherty was ridden into the ground 15m out straight in front of goal, play on, ball goes up the other end and Hawks get a cheap (but it was there) free kick.
Its also not just about the free kicks they get (like the ones that helped them kill Essendons momentum last week) its the ones other teams weirdly don't get.

When the teams have played the same amount of games we will have a clearer view, but after 3 games Hawks are +14 free kicks.
For context last season Gold Coast averaged the most free kicks for over the course of the season and after 3 games they were +6.

You could say they are fast and clean, maybe push the other team to be frustrated, earning ump bias, but there's nothing to explain it rationally in the case of Docherty and others. Surely we are not going back to no frees in front of goal? No one wants to sound tin hat conspirator, but your stat speaks for itself. Besides, every other true supporter of football, bar Dawks, can see it for themselves. Dodgy, and we'd better not suffer that ump BS when we play them, you're behind the eight ball before you even start. #freekickhawthorn
