Yeah Zorko is definitely capable of it! So is Richy with his long boot. We could really use a quick, powerful midfielder though. One who is capable of bursting away from the stoppages.
may have to wait a year or 2 but Cedric and Reuben can provide that outside run 80 meter player we need as well. also Jayden Stephenson when he comes on board next season;), you have heard he's a lions supporter lionshine?

I suggested the same thing a few weeks back and was promptly shouted down!!!!

And here I was thinking we had been having a discussion on a discussion forum. The more you know...

It's Aish I'm most disappointed for. If only he had been selected, I reckon he would have found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in those last few minutes. Shy at a critical contest, a kick to no one, a fumble, a weak tackle. They needed you out there Aishy...where were you?

With West Coast (WA), GWS and Carlton to come we could run into a Swans' team with just one win on the board... shame it's at the SCG, would be pretty bullish otherwise.
I had the Swans finishing top 4 - shows what I know!

I hate the Pies but I must admit I enjoy watching Treloar play.

This is a great goal and we could really use a midfielder capable of turning a stoppage at the half back flank into a goal in the space of 5 seconds.
His kicking efficiency... not so much though.

He is prone to the odd shank. Still a handy player though.
Very Juddlike isn't he.

Inside bull who can then burst from congestion.

Dislike him for chasing fame and fortune at Collingwood but he's a hell of a player.

Gary Ablett’s manager Liam Pickering has slammed the media scrutiny surrounding his star client, labelling the coverage “disgusting”.

Pickering said the reaction to Ablett’s form was a huge over-reaction.

“It was just outrageous the amount of articles written about Gary during the week, based on one game that wasn’t up to his normal standards when the rest of the team struggled,” he said on SEN.

“The first game he got eight coaches votes.

Yeah, cos Ablett didn't do anything to generate any media attention this week

He's been worse than that so far this season, looking for the cheap outside ball too much and has turned it over a lot. I think he's been going at about 40% by foot.

33% coaches vote retention allowance.

Hate to say it, but Richmond are really impressing me so far this year. Still early days but it does look like they have gone up a few notches.

They are way less patchy. Putting longer periods of competitive footy together within matches.

Yeah, they still don't have a scalp that says they're the real deal.

The eagles are a good team but they don't win a the G too often

Pickering is an unlikable human being.

Redden is a total plodder and he's only going to get slower.

Remember when we traded him for the pick we used on Hipwood?

I am actually surprise that Redden seems to have gone backwards since going to the Eagles. He seems to have less impact on a game than he did with us, and that was one of the major faults he had at the Lions.

He seems to be more a depth player for them than anything else. I suspect that had he stayed with us the same would sooner or later be true. He just doesn't really have enough to offer other than being generally useful and moderately competent - faint praise at best.

Incredible in hindsight we got Pick 17 for Redden. Very handy draft points. Talk about selling high. Sure the pace of the game has evolved, but even then he just hasn't looked anything like the player he was for us.
