I'm right behind the AFLW but there was not much evidence of "one touch" players on show tonight.
The girls all appear to have great difficulty in controlling ground ball, fumbles being more common than not.
The first AFLW player that can demonstrate real ability and composure in this area will be a superstar

Pretty Damn average.
Hope our girls (and our opponents for that matter) put on a far better display than what we saw last night (30% improvement from last season to this season apparently?). Bluntly, it couldn't be too hard.

They’re semi professional athletes. You gotta be realistic - stop expecting the same standard as the 500k/year full time men’s players.
I find it refreshing because of the players’ enthusiasm and endeavour to win every contest.
Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy the fact that girls can watch it and dream of playing too.
