Its obvious that Norf no longer have any sense of Self Respect

They have never pulled their own weight

Years of living from one handout to the next have turned Norf into the welfare dependent embarrassment that it is today.

Its time for some tough love by the AFL :thumbsu:
Yeah, maybe we should just go to the bank and beg them to write off all the debt. Worked for Geelong.

Ah the old Norf response..."but, but, but"...

So let's get this straight.

Hawthorn were, to use your terminology, "whores" for selling games to Tasmania.

Where does that leave you now, champ??

(P.S. - as an aside - Melbourne (or is that "Melunborn"?!) is now the only club playing matches in Darwin...we will be playing Sydney in Canberra...yet another locale you have "whored" yourself to.)

so we agree both our clubs have sold games interstate and to more than one market? We just made $1.5m for two games - I think if you were able to be objective, you might concede that it is a fairly good return.

Too bad Norf will only waste it.
LMAO.

How many times has your whore of a club been bought and sold over the last 25 years. First it was Edelsten, then the alchoholic Willesse.

I dread to think how many millions have been poured down the sewer that is the Sydney Football Club.

It's a great return.

But I thought Norf didn't want to play in Tasmania, anyway?

Will be most interested in SLF's opinion on these developments, considering his outburst about Norf not wanting anything to do with Tasmania anyway and having "dodged a bullet" on that one.

We haven't whored ourselves to every state and town like you have. The Norf Melvin Kangawhores should be your name. :)

At least we put the money to good use, you'll just squander the AFL's money.

South, or should that be Souf, Melbourne were the games original whores.

Did you fight for Souf or give up without a whimper when they moved to Sydney in '82.

Do you even know that Sydney were once the SMFC?

Given we know Norf fans double swipe memberships to artificially boost home game attendances numbers, will Hobart (or even Ballarat) even need to re-develope the ground to accommodate?

How cute, asking me a question like that?

I pity you.

Just a shame that your once proud club is on it's last legs.

Shall I administer the last rites?

Can't say that I was looking forward to the opportunity to play in Tas but if it was a choice between losing money at Etihad or getting $1.5m for two games, then I am pretty supportive of the club's decision.

Assuming the deal goes ahead of course - you learn not to count your chickens etc..

I think (but am sure you can correct me with a quote) most North fans were not that supportive of playing 7 games in Tas as the requested business case from a couple of months ago outlined. Who knows - I wont speak for SLF - but I haven't seen that much strong opposition. His red card lapses soon surely.

Anyway - carry on.

No thank you - we are fine.

We have a coach who wantsto be at our club, we have our new training facility, opportunities to get higher returns on low drawing games, and a pretty exciting young playing list.

You are a year away from finally having a rival for members. Hope it goes well for the swannies.

lol So much lulz in that post, especially the part about the exciting young playing list and training facilites in a dead-end town such as Ballarat. :D

No need mate, I'm rather content with it:thumbsu:

Oh well, you can follow the Gold Coast Suns or any of the new teams, when Norf dies or relocates to Tasmania.

Not sure when our training facilities moved to Ballarat:confused:

Do fill me in on this latest development, Wolfie.

When was Norf able to afford a new training facility should be the question, can you fill me in on that one?

Like you did when "Souf" moved to Sydney.

You can hope all you like, it's not going to happen

Crikey are you new to this planet or something? Did you miss all the coverage on TV and the newpapers 12 months ago when the new Arden St facility was unveiled. Even I got a little sick of it to be honest.

PS: What's with the bold text, Wolfie old son?

ok its official everyone, the lone wolf is gogriff. I have never seen an opposition supporter so obsessed and filled with so much hate towards north except for go griff and the lone wolf.
Therefore gogriffs alias is the lone wolf.

I think you should reconsider your decision.

Your coach has done nothing amazing to deserve any sort of recognition, Even if he does want to be a part of the club, just wait until next year when you once again fall below the top 8 and suddenly you and the rest of your Norf supporters turn on your coach.

In addition your "new" training facilities are no better than the local North Melbourne bowls club. All of you Norf supporters believe your facilities are amazing when in actual fact a basketball court, some new tables and chairs is not worth even bringing up. I suggest you refrain from bringing up any talk of new facilities next time to avoid embarrassment.

As for your exciting young list. I'll at least say you have some players which brighten your clubs very bleak future. Your midfield could potentially be very good. But as for the other 70% of your list. You have no great future power forwards and your small forwards don't have anything to special going for them either. Your so called future power house player, in Majak Daw has played no AFL games, but for some reason your club loves to pump him up to appear as some sort of prodigy.

Finally any talk of membership from a Norf supporter is laughable. For a team that has had over a century to gain support it struggles to have more members than a team established in the 80's. Your future in the AFL is doomed and if those generous people who purchase sympathy memberships from your club stopped doing so, your membership tally would never reach 30000 again and so the death of the North Melbourne Football club would come much quicker, to the delight of everyone in Australia who does not support NORF
