I cant wait for the Cats to beat Collingwood in a Final again. Will make the victory a billion times sweeter.

whether it will be pace and athleticism that could get us over the line in the finals will be interesting to see,but i expect geelong to bounce back hard

My observation about Geelong is they still look v potent. Dont see too many Pie supporters with another view.

Pies still a year or two from peak and probably wont get there this year

Cats are waiting for Sept. I cant wait and have realistic hopes.

Cats then Saints are the teams to beat. July /Aug form gets a top 4 spot not a flag. The top 4 seems settled now so Sept is looking v even

Why is pace 90% of the time the first thing supporters jump at when things don't go well on the field? Can someone please tell me?

I've even seen Essendon supporters say they need more pace recently. Ludicrous stuff.

Pace has never been geelongs strength, they have been fleet of foot with their skills, they dont just play on alot, they play on and dispose of the ball quicker than any other team...probably in history..

This may be of no interest but my niece walked into the room as the game was on last night and said, it’s not fair that the team in Black & White play against a team of little round chubby people....After laughing my head off made me think that perhaps the cats are getting a bit on after all their success and time to recruit some athletic pacey players...
Now before every Collingwood hater replies (and I know you will) yes you might have some quick players but generally lack athleticism i.e. Always feel confident when I see, Mooney Pods, Scarlett, Milburn, Corey, Hawkins, a second Cats ruckman and Ling run out on the park...
Anyway long way to go but makes life liveable not seeing Geelong at the top!
