Bonz can confirm he was on a 3 season contract, we didn't lose him. What we did was had the pleasure of his company for 3 seasons knowing we would replace him in the 4th season, hence why we brought in thewizardmelon to ensure we had no drop in posting quality or input. That in my books is an A++ IN LIST MANAGEMENT.

Personally think the OOB have done an exceptional job with their recruitment and they know they have a huge fan in me.

Three returning players is decent and they will hopefully provide some much needed variety in match threads this season to help alleviate the growing demand on the Roys top-end LG posters.

One rookie is a pass mark. Let's hope for the Roys sake that judge judy is as good on the qooty field as she is in a court of law.


Losing TedDougChris to retirement is a monumental loss for Roys and the league. Having been leader of the Roys for over 4 years and holding their team together through thick and thin, he has left a gigantic hole in the squad that Mobbs and co. will quickly need to try and fill. But finding someone like TedDougChris will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Losing Zevon is also a massive loss, and marks another LG member leaving the team this off-season.

Another couple of retirements to long-time Roys teammates just adds to the pain.

Surprisingly, Roys have decided to delist 2 players in Sterge and Kabanna. Whether these were an oversight on the Roys part or simply misspelled retirements beats me, but you'd have to wonder why the Roys decided to delist anyone with their current squad status.


Overall this has been a horrendous off-season for the Roys and obviously a painful one with the retirement of their long-standing captain TedDougChris. It is very difficult to see any positives in this scenario, with only a glimmer of hope coming from their single rookie who we pray becomes the next Sweet-FA sensation.

But I dunno who I’d be more pissed at …

• a heart-and-soul teammate who left you in the lurch
• a Wonder with no crotch … or heart (seemingly)
• an OOB complaining about getting an A rating or
• a Bomber actually showing compassion

I mean they got wrong-footed.

Come on! We’ve all been there.

Roys get “consideration” if they acknowledge they’re in a long-overdue rebuild.
