Just wondering, where was Caro around the time Dustin Martin physically threatened a lady in a restaurant in the preseason. Much worse than what was said about her. If it were any other club she would've been all over it! Her silence was deafening. Does this mean she thinks it's okay to do so if you are a Richmond player? Also the Tigers who have applied a Triple M ban, did they apply a Dusty Martin ban as well? Don't think so (correct me if I was wrong). So once again, the Tigers denounce such things (unless of course you play for them).

Caro wasn't the hypocrite on the Martin chopsticks issue (she thought he should have been suspended and wrote an piece on Channel 7 execs putting pressure on their female employee who was the victim to drop charges)

What seems to be lost in all of this is that Caro never bought it to the publics attention. It was a journo from Sydney.
I think Caro was happy for it to be kept out of the media and perhaps dealt with it quietly.

Very good point... She is a victim yet she wasn't playing the part of a victim until someone else made some noise about it. Even then she has still held herself well. She could have come out guns blazing... but i think she knows better. She would be used to the criticism I'm sure.
She has still held her ground/position better than Eddie through all this.

THE WAY club lists are shaped in the future has been the subject of a recent brainstorming session involving key AFL officials and club list managers.

Mid-season trading, short-term contracts, list sizes, free agency and compensation, trading players during the NAB AFL Draft and the need for a pre-season draft were all on the agenda.

Mid-season draft would be a total joke; just have in-season trading and free agency (at least until an in-season deadline), allow pick exchanges on draft night, and give a franchise tag for uncontracted players, then get rid of the pre-season and rookie drafts in favour of a development list for cat B and a list for those who are out with a season-ending injury so someone can be acquired.

Great piece of opportunism from Sam Newman to turn the spotlight on himself and hijack the issue for his own profile. People like him are loved or hated and a stunt like that has the fans united behind him and the haters up in arms. He likes both kinds of attention, it is what makes him his living.

But he also believes what he says. He had a lot to say about excrement dressed up as other things.
