assuming we win this weekend, will they play again in 08, should they play again, and how would their inclusion affect the team, which has played so well together at least for the last 2 games. Bird will obviously come in if he's fit, Vez will liely go out, but I cant see big Henry getting a run at this stage, unless there is another injury, and even Malceski is a risk at this stage, he's been quite ordinary the past couple he's played, and if fit, obviously you'd expect Micky O to come back in.

if fit i think oloughlin will play but i cant see to many changes being made unless for injury. though id like to see playfair get some more games because he gives us another strong marking target when hall doesn't fire. but with goodes stuck foward with this injury we probly wont see him again till 09

Playfair won't be brought back in, O'Loughlin will be a case of if he is fit he'll play (but we won't know with him until matchday to be honest if we do name him) and on Malceski he has been a key linkup player for the team in the last two matches and won't be dropped, so I don't know what your getting at by suggesting he is a risk when he was our leading Possession winner against Brisbane and effective as the side came out of defence last night - certainly hasn't been a risk or effected us.

I think in anycase Bird won't be coming back regardless because our midfield is pretty much set and I could only see Ablett making way (which won't happen) and we will only make a change to the side that played on Saturday Night if we have any injuries/suspensions or O'Loughlin is ready to come back and he'll be the only one to to return and that will be for Vezspremi. To be honest our side is pretty much set of the rest of the year and the only change I can see will be O'Loughlin for Vezspremi.

ok, concede on Malceski, i just think he's a shadow of his former self, and has been shown up against the better teams, of which I dont count the kanga's as one. Bird was only out due to injury not form, if he is fit again, why wouldnt they bring him in. I think its ashame Henry probably wont get a run, but thats footy, 09 will be his year.

Malceski is a shadow because of his knee reco... give him a proper pre-season and he'll be back to his best next season. Fingers crossed no more injuries!! He's a true star of the future.

People point out our ageing squad but forget that this blokes only played 50 or so games!!

Malceski was really struggling until his past couple, but he's looked much better. Finally seems to have shrugged off whatever it was that was bothering, in these past two games he's run harder and with more freedom, has been able to turn and accelerate (not back to what he was, but better) AND most importantly he's moved into contest situations and started tackling again.
I can't see any reason at all for him to not be in our top 22 next week, next year.
O'Loughlin is very unlikely to play again this year, and probably the same for Hank, although Playfair is at least fit again, as far as I know.

But going on last night, apart from the Bird dilemma, why would you change that side? The best Swans performance of the year.

Whilst it is obvious Vesz hasn't got a big motor yet,I would much prefer him in the team to Bird.Ves has an X factor whilst Bird is still just an average player.
