Healy and Hird form the best TV commentry team with BT on a Sunday afternoon on Fox.

Healy is probably the only not recently retired player (>10 years out of the game) who I rate their opinion. For a Victorian he is very knowledgeable about interstate clubs. He has actually given credit to Craigy numerous times for pioneering the zone we see today. Most interstate scribes like to give that credit to Clarkson.

That bugs me no end. Good luck to Hawthorn for having the cattle to win a flag using a system we devised, but the credit would be nice. Everyone bar Crows fans seem to have forgotten just how damn dominant we were 05-06.

I don't have FOX so I can't watch On The Couch but it doesn't surprise me at how unknowledgeable Mike Sheahan is, nor does it surprise me how knowledgeable Gerard Healy is. We should get someone to write a default e-mail writing to about the dissapointment of his knowledge of the Crows. Not sure it would get us anywhere but it would be fun, hehe.

I've never watched On The Couch but I always enjoy listening to Healy commentate - it's not because he rates the Crows list as much as he at least knows it. He can be quite harsh about the Crows but he's completely fair and at least judges us on our merits. I'm so sick and tired of turning on a Crows match and listening to the preamble where the commentators point out that we have no forwards. Not that we have no established forwards, but that we literally have no forwards and our entire forward line is makeshift. That's just sloppy journalism. Half way through the match they remember that Porplyzia is a talented forward usually at least.

It's a good show.

Healy and Hird are great, they are just brought down by Sheahan.

James Hird & Nathan Buckley are a breath of fresh air in regards to the commentary/special comments both for the games & for the talk shows.

Should get rid of all the old farts like Sheehan & replace them with people like those two who have what it takes.

Like most others posting, this show frustrates because it is so Vic oriented, but then, all the AFL shows are. Mike Sh.. said something revealing tonight - refering to Daniel Rich and the Rising Star nom: "If he played for a Victorian Club he'd be the favourite...".
Makes one wonder what chance Dangerfield, Otten and Walker will have?
