Pendles will be assistant elsewhere first. He's not silly enough to go straight into a senior coaching position.
I’d estimate a rival club would have to pay a hefty fee (including 10y contract) to extract JUH out of the Kennel plus picks and maybe a player to the Doggies as well.

I sort of agree with others in here, I had Sydney and GWS in my top 4 before the season, and they have done nothing to suggest they won't be in the top few sides this year.
Yes we have been extremely disappointing the last 2 weeks but we've played quality opposition, unfortunately we have Brisbane away in 2 weeks, meaning its essentially a do or die game next week or we'll be 0-4

Despite the number of exciting talls, their aerial game isn't a strength. They don't have a strong aerial presence in the back half. All the good teams have a star kpd - theirs are ordinary. Naughton is at the wrong end. JUH and Naughton are good players who will do well on a defence like ours that sags off, but defenders that body up on them can nullify them pretty easily.

Just what I was hoping for too. Imagine the 2 Grand Finalists losing their first 2.
Won't make our start look quite so disastrous if their losses were against Blues at the Gabba & the Dockers.
If Brisbane lose tonight, who are currently trailing the Dockers, would it be just a coincidence that the two grand finalists, who would’ve started their pre-seasons well after the other teams, us even probably later after winning the premiership, be struggling at the moment? Considering both us and Brisbane also had to start the season off earlier than any other season. So both our pre-seasons have been shortened because of the early start, and now both struggling in the early rounds.....

Damn Lions getting their bye next week just before playing us, but we have to wait until round 5.
And we will have travelled interstate 3 times before our bye.

How can you have back to back 6 days brakes to start the year, and also 3 interstate trips in the first 5 games, including back to back interstate travel, oh yeah…. Ratings and TV rights.

The runners up hangover is real .
It's funny that for the grand final AFL is big on the teams having the same break.
But for the GF replay - here you go Brisbane, have a weeks break to ensure you are fresh. The AFL are the biggest pack of cnuts.
