Could struggle next year to get game time but from 2026 could be big opportunity for him with all the outs we would presumably have and he develops.

He’s still a very light build - easily out muscled. I was a fan but failure to add bulk is a major issue.

Agree, he'd also provide an ability to rotate forward/back with Howe if we need to mix things up, he's an excellent reader of the play and he has very good hands. Adds to our ability to control the play (good extra back when we want to slow down the game, handy forward when we want to press) - reckon he's one player who would benefit significantly from a Houston 60m bomb.

While Houston provides run, he’s a different type to Noble. Taller and relies on his size to break lines instead of pace.

I think he had the best goal kicking accuracy this year too.

Forget the Perryman and Houston trades - what Port fans must really envy is Collingwood's ability to turnover senior staff (Wright, Bolton + Browne, to go with Buckley and McGuire in recent years).

When Daniher retired his name might have been mentioned along with a few others as a stop gap replacement who could be gettable. Nothing about them actually wanting him.

Only if we moved away from 2 rucks and used McStay to chop out - I can't see it happening. He'd be outstanding depth though.
