Aside from Nick, De Goey is probably the best game breaker we have to facilitate better delivery to a key position player.

Young is better than frampton imo, although he's always seemed to play better without weitering in the side. At one point in early 23 (I think) young was outperforming weitering when weiters came back from injury. Could be the same with moore but he's a good age, good height, and has shown better afl form than frampton, certainly as a key defender. If it's low cost I think we could do a lot worse, and I'm not sure who out there is going to be better for us this year in giving moore support.

Frammers is miles better than Young.

If you're basing this on his 2024 then I feel it's somewhat premature given he was playing injured the entire season

It's why I broached the idea of swapping De Goey for Petracca when the Trac rumours first popped up. While De Goey's best I feel is better than Petracca's, Trac definitely has him beat for sheer consistency of performance.

They're both almost the exact same age too.

But ideally we'd want both.

Agree, that's what I want too. Draft a young kid to develop alongside Checkers & Dan for the future.

Hopefully next year we finally have Dan & Checkers playing together for the whole season we don't need 3 tall forwards down there at the same time.

And there very well may be an experienced kpf available for 2026 when we have the dollars to spend.
