all i know hutchy is that brett eaton looks like he will be a quality pick up..
As posted previously BRAD Eaton will put some steel into the Panthers. Ex Sunraysia League B & F, premiership player with Heidelberg in the NFL last season. Is the complete package.

High quality player, high quality bloke.

good luck to the bloke, hopefully he makes a name for himself as a footy player now that he wont have hodgy dragging him down

Hoggy will throw himself into the midfield again and resurrect the club!!! He has only put on another 10 kilos (most of it ego) - not too bad for his age really.

He would want to be after all the players that have or are about to move on (Garland, Albers?) not to mention the fact that they still cant recruit a tall forward after 3 years of trying. Hold the phone, maybe Doc will throw the boots on again. That will solve all our problems?

Where is aalbers going? i heard garland either heading up to QAFL or across to SANFL

Seems the Ohlin brothers have again found the going in the O&M a bit tough - and have walked out on Wodonga to sign with Dederang in the TDFL. Probably to be big fish in a small pond again.

Confirmed but will require a few more "ins" to cover off season "outs".

has been alot of rumour and innuendo about the wang ins and out for 2010

the wash up may not be all that bad in actual fact. the whelan boys loom as big pick ups. peder is a big man who will cover for hooper in the ruck. with mullins and hayse re-committing the only real losses are smith hooper mccormick. williamson is off to the o&k but he was no more than a bit player at o&m level in any event. disappointing for them that trenfield and/or cosgriff couldn't be lured back but the cheque book apparently wasn't fat enough, at least in one case

could be at least 1 more signing confirmed as early as thursday too which would strengthen the midfield a bit so wouldn't be writing them off just yet

just wondering if anyone knows who myrtleford are playing on the easter weekend and if it is a home game for them, and have they picked up anyone in the off season yet?( apart from a new coach) cheers.

They are playing Wang Rovers at Myrtleford on Easter Sunday. Haven't heard of any signings as yet.

Played on Trenfield this year up in the Central Murray and he must have had an ordinary day

Must of because he can seriously play. Was a star for Wangaratta in its two premierships as a running defender, setting up plenty of attacks. Rumors of him returning to the Norm Minns in 2011 due to him being great mates with a lot of the current crop of players!!

Players Wanted - Putney Magpies, London

Moving to London and love Aussie Rules?

Then the Putney Magpies Aussie Rules is the place to be in season 2010.

We are now currently on the search for new footy talent to get on board with the club next season.

Considered the most well liked and most social club in South-West London, the Putney Magpies have three teams competing in the AFL London competition with a team to suit all levels.

Pre-season training for both clubs will commence every Sunday at 1pm from February 7th in South Park, Parsons Green. In the Summer months, training is every Tuesday/Thursday at 6.30pm from April until August (depending on finals) and games are usually played every Saturday.

If you want a bogan with a mullet yelling at you either at training or during a game then I am sorry don't come to Putney we don't have that culture. Fortunately, Putney are a little more laid back and well suited to Aussie Rules in London. So if you are an Aussie, British, European, Kiwi, South African, an Eskimo or from any other place not mentioned, we will make you feel welcome and guarantee you will have fun.

To find out more about being part of the best Aussie Rules Football Club in London, then email play@putneymagpies.com for more details.
