Now bring on the stats re: teams who win the GF by a huge margin that don't make finals the following year.

We are the very rare exception same as being 0-6 and making finals.

Well done to all that held the faith that said we would make finals. Pre-season I was with you but after that mid-season slump bottom 4 looked more likely

Fair point. Having said that don't feel lucky about last night or one bit guilty about the result. All the bitching and moaning about Adelaide and their finals hopes which were next to zero and other connotations for teams outside the 8. Bulldogs in the finals ? Really ? They are putrid, Geelong are gone and dare I say it the GWS and Us deserve the last couple of spots. If they feel they were shafted great but let them comeback to Us when they are shafted in a GF as we were not in a H&A game in front of their moronic supporters who like the state of SA are still living in 1964.

Thought I’d feel more confident on finals after beating Adelaide. If we lose next week it’s not hard to see us missing - GWS play Carlton, who would already have a guaranteed home final locked in if we lose. And Bulldogs playing Geelong, who have nothing to play for. I guess we can hope West Coast pulls something out of the bag tomorrow.
