Grossest understatement!
Even with an absolute disaster that is the middle of our season where we just couldn't keep up and questioning our selections, we somehow make the finals. Wow.
Swans were 63.5 point favourites when we lost to GC in 2018, so very close but Dogs even larger line today
Looks like I have a bit of luck at the moment.

We won't be able to hear them over being drunk celebrating the premiership
More likely to get screwed over against a big Vic team (Carlton or Collingwood) in a GF than that happening tbh...

I'd gladly take a *premiership at this point. It would go some way to rectifying *2016.
In saying that, I hope we beat Melbourne next week and put this all to bed.

Few ways the final round can turnout:
No matter what way you flip the results, the only teams we can face for the elim is either Saints home/away or the Blues away.
Thank f*ck we cant play the Giants in another elim final
. The only way we could is if the Saints lose, we smash the demons (around 50 point margin) and the Giants smash the blues, which is highly unlikely.
- If the Saints, Swans and GWS all lose: We play the Saints at the MCG
- If the Swans win and the Saints lose: We play the Saints at the SCG
- If the Swans and Saints lose and GWS wins: We play the Blues at the MCG

But don't worry. Even if we were up by 50 points at 3qt, we'd lose the final quarter by at least 4 goals like we always do.

My thinking now that we are assured of finals is if we rest a few players who are banged up to get them fresh and ready for September.
At the very least, I think Parker could use a spell. Mills probably in the same boat as well but I understand not wanting to completely throw in the towel next week either.
