Just surprised Brady Grey wasn't in the best. Bizarre.

Hughes was good, barely lost a contest, used the ball within his limits effectively.

Grey was okay, but he was leading an inside midfield that got spanked for clearances so it's hardly surprising he got marked down.

Emmett one shouldn’t have even been a free, as legal shoulder to shoulder bump, just the WP player went down like a sack of spuds, seemed to get up and take his shot on goal fine.

Luke Shuey taught him a few lessons. For those that remember (and I don't blame them) Connor West previously had quite a forgettable stint at the Eagles - unless you were looking for the worst kick ever seen at AFL level maybe.

Feels like one of those just unlucky to be out of contract in a position that your team happens to have depth in situations.

He'd be behind all of Wright, Langford, Stringer, Jones, and Caddy as a tall/medium forwards for the Bombers.

Then take into account quite often they play 2 rucks with Draper spending significant time forward.

The concern I have with Voss (that hopefully doesn't eventuate) is that realistically there should be a bunch of teams who are willing and able to offer a far easier road to consistent seniors football than we can. There are teams where Voss would be the best young key fwd, here he's not top 3.

I'd be stoked if Voss re-signs here, but I'd also think "Are teams not doing their homework?"

IF the cunning plan is for Jackson to replace Fyfe (not like for like) then there is a pathway for Voss to play senior football.

For us he’d play 2-3 games then get displaced by Pearce and Cox. Richmond are just starting their rebuild - get himself into the best 22 and play good footy and he could stay there for a decade. He’s in a good spot for him.

Still feel like he made a small contribution for us even though he technically was never on our list.

went straight to the VFL and dominated, he is an AFL player IMO


We definitely helped his development, would join our pre season scratchies (also played v the crows last year I reckon) + having a good system from Freo at Peel.

Reckon North have missed a trick, they are crying out for KPD and missed the best one in all the state leagues
