this deal is better than you think for hawks if Jarman is nominating us under father son. Means going from 36 to 68 may not cost us anything if Jarman is worth pick 30-60 as suggested. If he went for pick 30, for example, we would have had to use 36- now we can use 57 for the same result with pick 88 we got for Mitch

Holy crap. I hope O'Meara doesn't do an ACL. This is madness. We got pick 88 for Mitch. Now were trading pick 10 & Billy for O'Meara. Were pretty much out of this years draft & 2nd round next year. God I hope we don't need to deal with Gold Coast for a few more years. I like O'Meara but no offence T Mitchell is worth more. 2 years of missing footy development & playing for a shit team. He's still got to prove. Dangers or Fype I can understand as we know what were going to get.

we need to select 3 players in the draft - Jarman (if he nominates us) will be one, and we will more than likely upgrade Stewart. Leaving one true live selection. Obviously this depends on list numbers and the like..

Perhaps Clarko and Wrighty have their collective eyes on someone a bit left field who will still be around come pick 88. So are happy to part with picks they don't hold all that much value this year.

If my calcs are correct the current points we have excluding pick 10 amount to 325 when taking into account a 20% discount (i think thats right for FS) that means we could only match a bid of pick 47 or below for Jarman at the moment.

pick 88 has no value in regards to points. pick 73 is the last pick that has points attached being worth 9 points. after that they're all worth 0 in regards to academies or FS.
