Hot toddy looks like he believes in his ability now and it shows.

Our forward line looks better with MG, Todd and Finlayson than it has for years with Charlie..
I think Charlie served a purpose with drawing 2 or 3 every time. I know Todd prefers to play with Dixon. I always said I thought Todd would be our next Westhoff, I now think he’s going to be even better. He’s a smart player, cool head and a great shot at goal.

It's losers like you that have us being an 'almost team'. Smug pricks who are always right with the benefit of hindsight. We lost alot of close finals with young players that shouldn't have played. We lost a lot of important games with young players who were given too many chances. The fact that Marshall has strung a few games together in a row doesn't erase the fact that you had no idea which Todd Marshall would turn up 2017 - r3 2022. Hopefully that continues but to pretend the criticism was unwarranted is rubbish. Feel free to go back to posting 50 times a year you dickhead.
we lost alot of games because we had too much faith in washed up losers and not enough in our talented juniors.
i think this is what you meant to say. because of course, marshall is our best forward by a country mile dickhead

There in lies the rub. Have seen alot of shit calls on here re: SPP, Wines, Boak, etc and overtime people are just dishonest about making them. I'll be happy to say that pretty much everyone I have bagged this year is now in career best form, but all these smug duckers will puff there chests out when one of their pet projects does well and pretend like they're smarter than everyone else. Meanwhile if they were running the club Wingard and Polec would still be here, and Boak and Wines wouldn't be.

So in the spirit of giving the kiss of life into a player's career, Motlop is shit, he's always been shit, everyone with the surname Motlop is shit, Stephen Motlop I hate you.
one thing we can agree on is that motlop is shite

Todd has more potential as a permanent forward than Westhoff ever showed, after 2007.

Is this you, Todd? lol 6 posts on this page alone.

Todd Marshall is the one truly positive thing to come out of 2022 thus far. 2022 is all about Toddy.

Persisting with Marshall despite the slow build up, with up and down games, that all young KPF's have (outside generational freaks like Buddy and N. Reiwoldt) is one of the few selection decisions gotten right the last few years.

For all those who've bagged Marshall's selections in previous years, THIS is why you keep playing young KPF's at the top level, even as they contribute little. Marshall is the only young KPF across over a decade the coaches have given a run of games to, whether contributing 'enough' or not. With it unsurprisingly that Marshall is our only young KPF across over a decade that now contributes at a consistent level (we still love you Butch!).

Marshall's step up this year makes dropping MG for a small all the more an obvious glaring mistake. Even if he was missing his set shots, our forward line looked best this year with Marshall, MG and Finlayson, after the first few weeks, for them to gel (and Finlayson to obviously get past the shit news around his wife).

Like it or not, Hinkley has to be credited for sticking with him when most wouldn't of. He obviously saw his potential early.. You could see always see it. Just took a little while to surface.

Imagine if the club listened to the Genius' here. Marshall would be playing in Vic right now...

At the start of the year I got Todd in the buddy draft and was happy to hand him off because I didn't have any faith in him, but I was wrong. He's a huge chance to kick it anywhere in the forward 50 from a set shot, he's got a great set of hands and that marking craft to read where the ball is dropping, make contact with his man and then move to the ball and take it. He just looks like he's walking taller and much more sure that he belongs. He's pretty much the lone highlight from this season so far.
