An everyday joe or Jane has to do their rehab out of their pocket and in their own time
Sams job will be to do the rehab, no wait times in surgery or physio times

He gets to do his rehab as a full time gig

Non professional athletes have to do in on top of their already busy lives let alone pay for the healthcare they need. Hell some people have to save so they can go without income for a bit or go onto an income protection that is rarely the same earning potential

Pretty sure we can do without the socioeconomic commentary about how much “better” it is that Sam has done his ACL because he’s in a professional system compared to someone in a bush league or in an amateur environment. It’s a shit injury no matter who it happens to, regardless of whether it’s a workplace injury or not.
