Not having a go at Pep whatsoever, but it continually amazes me the obligatory front page pics of footballers from all teams getting married or having/had kids.
Never seems to end.
Aside from their families, who cares one iota.
Surely there's real news to plaster over the paper/internt????

* old man yells at clouds *

Yeah who ****ing cares? Stories about a B grade footballer having his third child front page news? I get that Sam isn't very bright but why would you sign up for this?
A desperate attempt to broaden the reader base. Barely anyone under 60 buys a paper, but Sport is still something Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z like, so hoping to attract a few into buying their rag. As if anyone under 60 can't read/see all they want on it, on their phone or PC.

They do these stories for the same reason cricket telecasts have wag boundary riders that ask players moronic questions about their home life and their kids.. for the female audience

And how does Giselle cope with the kids while you are off at the IPL herpa derpa? err she pisses off to buy handbags while the nanny brings up the kids.

I extend this to caring about personal lives of celebrities in general.

Sure care about a sportsman, actor musician in their respective sport or art form. But who the **** cares who they’re dating.

Was it front page news, wasn't it just a post from the PAFC twitter?

I'd rather that content than some of the other weird shit they put on social media like oppy goopy.

You think SPP is an A grader? Like top 20% in the league?

How many players are there?

I would've thought SPP is the classic 'B grader' - never going to be an All Australian but never going to be playing reserves.

I think that’s a very narrow definition of “A-grader”. That’s might be the issue.

B-grade implies hardly an AFL level player, no? I guess it's all subjective as to what that term means, but I would've assumed it was more along the lines of an insult (for lack of a better word) than a classification of skill amongst AFL players.

Not at all, Micheal Wilson was a B Grade footballer, but one of the first picked in any team he played in!

A Graders are the cream, B Graders are a rung down, C Graders still play 50-100 games of AFL footy and many win premierships playing their role. C is still a passing mark.

JHF, Butters and Rozee are probably the only genuine A Grade footballers at Port at present.
